Photograph caption dated March 24, 1956 reads "Three players totaling close to $200,000 in bonus money talk things over at the Hollywood Stars training camp in Anaheim. They are catcher Nick Koback ($20-30,000), first baseman-outfielder Paul Pettit ($100,000) and infielder Jim Baumer ($50,000), although the latter received the dough from Chicago White Sox."
