In June 1983, a female Contra soldier kneels in front of a campfire as she cooks food for the camp at El Porvenir Farm, located two kilometers from the Honduras-Nicaragua border. Beside her there are two male Contra soldiers standing idly. They are members of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN in Spanish), known informally as "Contras." En junio de 1983, una mujer soldado de los contras yace hincada frente a una fogata mientras prepara comida para el grupo en la granja El Porvenir, localizada a dos kilómetros de la frontera entre Honduras y Nicaragua. A su lado yacen dos soldados contras parados ociosamente. Ellos forman parte de la Fuerza Demócratica Nicaragüense, conocida informalmente como la contra.
