Photograph of a view of a sunken pansy garden in Exposition Park, 1925. The pansy garden is shown at center, staggering down to its lowest level via beveled steps, which are covered in flowers. At the center of this rectangular bed, a second bed rises up from the lower level, also covered in flowers. Other, non-sunken flower beds are spaced at regular intervals in a grid behind the pansies, separated by paths of mown grass. Trees and a surrounding concrete wall can be seen in the distance.
