Description
This 1998 photograph shows the headstone of Georgia Fisher, who died on Dec. 27, 1875 at the age of 19 years, 10 months and 2 days. The elaborately carved plaque mounted on a red tile background features carved flowers and clasped hands. It is located at Sacramento's Old City Cemetery, at 10th Street and Broadway. In the background are units of the New Helvetia Alder Grove housing project.
