Description
Photograph Figueroa Street south from C Street before construction, January 1938. In the foreground at center, a small puddle of water sits in the muddy, unleveled road. A line of utility poles extend into the extreme background, where additional utility poles can be seen running to the right. At right, several wooden poles can be seen near a pile of dirt. To the far left, a lone street sign is visible. In the extreme background at left, a large puddle of water can be seen at the base of a slope.
