Description
Hoffman and Mildren had a real estate firm on Myrtle and Olive. Among its clients was the Maxwell automobile agency. Mr. Mildren was an oil producer. Both were from near Pittzburg. J.J. Hoffman was a grocer and later had a successful drygoods business there. But in 1910 after a nervous breakdown, he sold the business and come to Monrovia for a long rest.
