Most of them are under the shade provided by their umbrellas. There is a lifeguard tower at right and a line of tall buildings at left. The ocean is at right and a pier is visible in the background. Several rides are visible on the pier, including two rollercoasters, a slide and a funhouse. Legible signs include, from left to right, "Denver Hotel", "Umbrellas", "Chick Inn Fried Chicken on Toast to take out", "Free Trip", "Curry's Hosack", "Drugs Soda Lunch", "Fashion Shop", and "Funhouse".
