Description
C.A. Myers of Akron, Director of Engineering for the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., is pictured breaking ground today for a great addition to the company's Los Angeles factory which was opened only last December. The addition, doubling the size and productive capacity of the plant, signalizes another tremendous advance of this city toward becoming the world's tire manufacturing capital, according to officials who witnessed the ground-breaking, May 17, 1929.
