Photograph article dated October 17, 1962 partially reads, "During Easter Week of 1961 the baseball future of 19-year-old Jimmy McGlothlin was as gloomy as San Francisco is today. The freckle faced Reseda High School right handed pitcher developed a sore arm and his coach Quentin Quick was doubtful if McGlothlin would ever toe the rubber again. Today, the 190-pound flame thrower is part of the Los Angeles Angels youth movement and his baseball career is as bright as the Yankee dressing room yesterday."
