The Streamline Moderne style Hollywood Park, built in 1937, was located at 1050 South Prairie Avenue in Inglewood. It was designed by architect Stiles O. Clements and landscape architect Edward Huntsman-Trout. Later additions to the park were designed by Fred Barlow, Jr. In 2012, the property was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park. The park closed in May, 2013 and development of a football stadium complex began in October, 2016. Photograph caption dated October 31, 1963 reads "Flying start. Horses featured during Hollywood Park harness racing season begin race behind starting gate pulled by automobile. Gate folds as car drives along track." Hollywood Park is in Inglewood.
