Leonard Bernstein raises the baton and leads the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. Photograph caption dated July 7, 1968 reads, "Reflection of the past: Where now there are box seats once lay a pool that gave the bowl visual resonance in addition to the aural kind."
