Description
An itemized memo from Yukio Mochizuki to Professor Donald Teruo Hata, CSU Dominguez Hills Department of History. Mochizuki first thanks him for putting him in touch with another researcher named Michi Weglyn. He discusses enclosed copies of translations [which are not included] and also discusses an issue he had with sending a tape recorder to Peru in order to collect research data from Mr. [Manuel E.] Ikari on the Japanese School in Lima, Peru, as the voltage requirements are different as well as the high price of customs to bring such a device into the country. Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
