Description
Bust-length portrait.
1990-1678.
Born in 1874 in Utah. Came to Sacramento in later 1800's. Initially purchased and ran winery. In 1898 went to work for California National Bank, eventually becoming president in 1924. Involved in variety of businesses: California Trust & Savings Bank, California State Life Insurance Co., California Development Association, Natomas Company of California, American Packing & Provision Co. of Ogden, Pacific Coast Canners, Inc. of Oakland. Owned ranch in Natomas district where raised cattle, hogs, ran dairy. Died in 1944.
