Description
Architect Welton Becket, F.A.I.A., exhibits a model of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Music Center to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on October 25, 1960. The cost, originally set at about $10,000,000 has now risen to $15,268,000, Becket said. However, a group of sponsoring citizens who first pledged $4,000,000 now pledge $6,000,000. The building would seat 3,000 persons.
