Photograph shows a carved wooden pew in a church. Carved into the pew are the words: "In memory of Mons. Francesco Sciocchetti, A.D. MCMXXXI." Francesco Sciocchetti was born in Italy in 1863. After serving as a priest in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy for 30 years, he immigrated to California in 1922. He died in San Francisco, California in 1946.
