Photograph of Department of Public Works surveyors scaling a small lookout tower, 1930-1939. At center, two men sit in the cupola of what appears to be a temporary wooden tower, while two men below make their way up. To the right, a wood-paneled automobiles is pictured, described in an earlier record as "a typical Public Works vehicle". A second automobile can be seen facing away from the viewer in the left distance. The road below them is narrow and appears to have been freshly paved.
