Photograph of USC football coach Howard Jones (center) with a scoop of ice cream from an ice cream cake received for his birthday on August 25, 1933. The cake reads "Head Man", Jones' nickname. Jones is seated, surrounded by players and coaches standing behind him. Dean Cromwell is directly behind Jones, in bow tie. Assistant general manager of the team, Leo Adams, is to the right of Cromwell in the photograph.
