Description
This is an audio recording summarizing the American Management Association’s audio book, “Managing By Objectives.” This is the tenth chapter of the book entitled “Avoiding Pitfalls.” The narrator begins by describing multiple ways that MBO can be introduced into a company. He says that all executives must have total knowledge of MBO and must be in constant communications with their superiors. He talks about wrong and unsuccessful ways to bring MBO in. He suggests running a pilot program to make sure MBO will work before installing it. He ends the tape by discussing what to do during unexpected situations and business emergencies.
