Description
Announcement of commencement exercises for the class of 1945 Miles E. Cary High School in Poston Incarceration Camp on June 1 at the Cottonwood Bowl. From Poston II Memories; Joan Oki Album #1, Page 2.
George Oki (Nisei), born March 9, 1927 to Magoichi and Masayo (nee Kamada) Oki in Sacramento, California. He was incarcerated at Pinedale Temporary Assembly Center and Poston II Incarceration Camp. He became a control tower operator in the Army Air Forces Communications System Unit in post-WWII occupied Japan at Itazuke Air Force Base in Kyushu, Japan.
