Kirsten Sofie Markegaard standing nr. three from the left: a missionary in Madagascar from 1911-1912. To her right: Inga Valborg Anderssen, a missionary in Madagascar from 1882-1912. Kirsten Sofie Markegaard was a teacher at Ambohimasina-Soavina from 1911-1912. She became ill and had to travel home in 1912. She died on her way home onboard the boat near Messina on November 6, 1912.
