Description: Page 184 of the La Torre yearbook. Ken Bailey and Bert Robinson, two San Jose State College student athletes that were in Honolulu for a football game when Pearl Harbor was attacked. They both volunteered for police duty right after; before coming home to San Jose. Ken Bailey was killed in action in France during World War II. Bert Robinson was a co-pilot on a B-17 and flew 33 bombing missions over Europe.
