Historical notes: This house went into auction on August 2, 1927. The auctioneer was W. Dwight Hammond. According to an auction announcement, the house was a "Flemish-type" 7-room stucco home. It also had a built-in telephone stand and desk, lots of closets, etc. "Buy at your own price", said the advertisement. [Biography] Photograph of house at 6437 Drexel Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, 1927.
