Description
The Sacramento County Planning Commission created this 1961 guide to plan the development of the Metropolitan Airport, now known as the Sacramento International Airport or SMF, in the Natomas area. The guide discusses issues surrounding the airport including noise pollution, crash hazards, agricultural impact, industrial development, and residential development. The Commission studied and proposed zoning plans and land use for the future of the Natomas area.
