Description
Photograph of a composite image showing the Manuel Dominguez adobe in Carson before and after restoration, ca.1905. The upper left corner of the image is dedicated to the picture of the adobe in ruins. Two wood framed windows are visible in the adobe wall, but the roof, as well as a large section of the wall, has caved in. The base of the walls is overgrown with weeds. The bottom of the image shows the restored adobe. There is a long covered porch around the front of the "L"-shaped building, and a series of archways grants access to it. The ground in front of the adobe is covered with grass, and there are two tall trees at right.
