Description
Photograph caption dated July 8, 1964 reads, "Receiving the Oak Leaves of his new rank as Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve is Maurice B. Daugherty, center, 901 W. Mountain St., Glendale. Pinning on the leaves are, left, Col. James P. Prowell and Brig. Gen. R. R. Van Stockum. Daugherty, who saw action in World War II and Korea, is an attorney for the Tidewater Oil Company."
