Photograph caption dated August 29, 1985 reads, "Religious literature like this inside car when the Night Stalker stole the vehicle for latest attack." The 1976 Toyota station wagon had been stolen in the Chinatown area from Bill Gregory and was recovered by authorities in the Rampart area.
