Title from Ingalls’ original envelope. Further notes on original envelope said: "Sequoyah Falls are located near Tahlequah, Ok. and named in honor of inventor of Cherokee Alphabet." Identified as Hildebrand Falls, Indian Territory, May 28, 1875 by John K. Hillers in: Fowler, Don, "The Western Photographs of John K. Hillers," (p. 68). Two men in photo may be Mr. Stevens and Mr. WIlliams mentioned in Hillers' diary. See also fld. 32 (47, 48).
