A large crowd of people cheer and applaud as they attend a campaign rally for Presidential Candidate of the National Unity Front (FUN), Ángel Aníbal Guevara. Many in the crowd are holding posters and banners in support of the candidate, including one of a portrait of Guevara in military uniform. On March 8, 1982, Guevara won the election, though many parties claimed electoral fraud.
