Bolshoi Ballet is part of the Bolshoi Theater, which also includes Russia's premier opera company. Bolshoi Ballet is one of the principal ballet companies of Russia and amongst the oldest and greatest ballet companies of the world, having begun as a dancing school for the Moscow Orphanage in 1773.
Photograph shows two dancers of the Bolshoi Ballet in costume, during its final U.S. performance at the Music Center. Unfortunately, neither dancer has been identified, and the performance is unknown. Photograph dated August 1987.
