Bob Hope, the legendary comedian and movie and TV star (checkered suit), stands amid public officials (including Gov. Jerry Brown, in dark suit, and Sec. of State March Fong Eu) as crowd sings Happy Birthday to him (he was 75). Hope was in town to appear at the Music Circus.
