Description
Photograph of Exterior view of Price Canyon adobe, between Pismo and Edna, August 1938. In the foreground at center, wild shrubs and weeds grow alongside two wooden poles. Additional shrubs grow alongside the structure at left. In teh background at center, a large building can be seen. The simple wooden structure features a covered porch, brick chimney, and sloped roof. Several small windows line the sides of the building. To the left of the structure, clothes can be seen hanging on a wire. A pile of wood near a large tree stump is visible to the right of the porch. Another building is directly attached to the back of the building at center. Large trees can be seen overhead. Previous version of record stated: "Structure approximately two miles from Highway 101". "Price was the American owner of the north half of the Pison grant. He built a large two-story adobe school building, the ruins of which are still standing...".
