Photograph article dated November 14, 1949 partially reads, "The slowly moving police car - lights out - prowled through dark alleys of the North Hollywood business district. The two officers in the car, Patrolmen Robert K. Caution and Orville R. Mendenhall, were on a dangerous assignment, one which could mean gunplay. They were seeking burglars who had been preying on business houses. For hours Mendenhall and Caution drove through every alley, straining their eyes to peer into every deep shadow. They saw a man. Quickly Caution accelerated the squad car, driving right into an areaway to plug one end of the man's path." Pictured is Officer Robert K. Caution.; See image #00133582 for additional photo in this series.
