Note: Als Nr. 47 publiziert im Album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer', Neuenburg 1895. - Bildlegende im Album: "Die Station Abetifi von der Front gesehen. - Der Platz vor dem Missionshaus ist mit prachtvollen Orangen- und Mangobäumen, Oel- und Cocospalmen bepflanzt. Der Baum links mit zackigen Blättern ist ein Brodfruchtbaum, dessen kopfgrosse Früchte, wenn gebacken oder gesotten, recht angenehm schmecken." (RI). Note translation: Published as no 47 in the album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer', Neuchâtel 1895. (RI). - Caption in the album: "The mission station seen from the front. On the land in front of the mission house beautiful orange and mango trees and oil and coconut palms have been planted. The tree to the left with toothed leaves is a 'Bread Fruit Tree' with fruit as big as a head which taste quite pleasant when baked or boiled." - The French caption begins "Les abords de la station sont couverts de gazon et plantés de nombreux palmiers ..." (PJ 07.1998).
