Description
Washington: The Mayaguez (shown in recent file photo), an unarmed American merchant vessel, was seized 5/12 under fire by a Cambodian naval vessel in international waters in the Gulf of Siam. Pres. Ford termed it 'an act of piracy' and warned of 'serious consequences' unless the ship is promptly released.
