Photograph caption reads, "Herald reporter Eddy Jo Bernal takes notes during 'interview'' with Papa whale as Mrs. Dorothy Berg (right), sea animal trainer, pats him on head. Later whale playfully tried to take the notebook in his mouth. But when the reporter refused to release it, the whale just swam away." Photograph dated: May 28, 1960.
