Photograph dated September 6, 1929 was used for an article dated October 22, 1929; it reads, "Mrs. McPherson says she was called to the Pantages home the night of Mrs. Pantages' conviction, prayed at her bedside and comforted here. This photograph shows Mrs. Pantages."; Second photograph caption dated March 4, 1930 reads, "Mrs. Lois Pantages is prepared to fight a suit for $893, claimed by attorney Joseph Sweeney as an unpaid balance for services in 1927 in an alleged preparation for divorce proceedings against Alexander Pantages, convicted theater magnate. Mrs. Pantages not only denies the claim but asserts she never contemplated divorce."
