Description: First photograph caption dated April 19, 1946 reads, "The Ship Cafe, world-famous, is one of the concessions which will be torn down." To the right of the Ship Cafe is the Dragon Bamboo Slide.; Second photograph caption dated June 26, 1953 reads, "The Ship Cafe--once it was the site of wild parties. In 1930--during the Prohibition Era--this Venice pier edifice reeked with illicit liquor, wild music and even wilder women."
