Andre De Toth and Veronica Lake were married from 1944-1952. De Toth was Veronica Lake's second husband. The couple had two children, Andre Anthony Michael III (Michael De Toth), and a daughter, Diana.
Photograph caption dated February 19, 1946 reads "'Only I can pat Veronica Lake,' says Director Andrew de Toth, who smacked a socialite in the Stork Club in New York, who not only assertedly 'patted' but also allegedly 'squeezed' the blonde actress. The director and Miss Lake are pictured together as they arrived here by plane."
