Photograph caption dated November 7, 1953 reads, "22nd Congressional District, which includes Valley, was described by Paul Ziffren, state's Democratic national committeeman, as one of best in California. Present during Ziffren's talk at meeting of Valley Communities Democratic Club were, left to right, Vice President Art Addis, Secretary Margery Lowenstein, Ziffren, President Bob Hemfling and Treasurer Jerry Alexandre."
