Photograph caption reads: "This Alexander Calder sculpture stands in front of a bank building on Hope Street. It's estimated that $35 million will be spent on public art programs in Los Angeles during the next 10 years". Photograph dated: Dec. 14, 1980.; Exterior view of Security Pacific Plaza in front of the Security Pacific Natinal Bank building located at 333 Hope Street, built in 1973-75, architect A. C. Martin and Associates. The entrance to the tower is dwarfed by Calder's steel sculpture and large, concrete, flower pots decorate the plaza. People are entering and exiting the building. On the right are circular, brick steps.
