Description
Portrait of older woman wearing dark lace shawl and small brooch at her neck in the shape of a leaf. Her hair is pulled off her face in back and she is wearing oval spectacles. Her mouth is pursed as though she does not have a full set of teeth. From a leather-bound album containing 23 cabinet cards and cartes-de-visite. Most of the studios were located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, especially Lowell, although the cartes-de-visite were taken in California.
