Spring St., Los Angeles, Cal."--text on verso. Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on the history of photographer and bookseller; James Westervelt began working in Los Angeles around 1884 (see Carl Mautz, Biographies of Western Photographers, 154), and Off & Greer are advertised as being the successors to John R. Meister's stationery store on North Spring Street in 1886 (see Los Angeles Herald, July 25, 1886). Light green mount.
