Description
Photograph of a view of Hollywood Boulevard looking northeast from Cahuenga Avenue, showing the Hollywood National Bank, Los Angeles, ca.1911. The simple, two-story building of the Hollywood National Bank is situated in the center of the frame with striped cloth canopies extending from most of the windows, both top and bottom, on the left side. A bicycle has been leaned against the outer wall. A man stands near it on the corner in front of the bank while at right, a cable-car makes its way across its tracks. Utility poles extend across the photo on Cahuenga. Tree foliage hangs in from above, while most of a full tree can be seen at the extreme right. The Picture File Card reads "Bank Blvd.". Compare: CHS-6798. Photo shows Hollywood Boulevard northeast from Cahuenga Avenue ca.1922-1932.
