Photograph article dated June 16, 1959 partially reads, "Twenty Chatsworth residents, a fire battalion and a tow truck combined to drag a 'booby-trapped' horse safely from the bottom of a 30-foot hole where he was imprisoned five hours last night. The horse, 15-year-old Snowball, stumbled into a water test hole in an orange grove across from 10444 Jordan Ave., Chatsworth, about 8 p.m., tossing his young rider, Susan Ruff, 12, of 10621 Variel Ave., Chatsworth, clear of possible serious injuries."; See images #00114887 through #00114889 for all photos in this series.
