In October 1905, party of friends and relatives went for a cruise of the Santa Barbara Islands on the two-masted power steamer, Avalon.
Son of Justinian Caire who emigrated to the United States from France, settling initially in San Francisco. Married Lillian R. Suich of Irish and Croatian background.
