Det var dejligt at mærke de begejstrede lærere, hele tiden parat til at tænke nyt og prøve at gøre undervisningen bedst mulig med de midler, de nu havde. "With 80 students in the class" - A Danish teacher in the Arcot School Project is telling: Good to see the almost 30 ALC schools, by now included in the project, being very good community centres of the villages – with good teaching, trained health workers and so on. Nice to feel the enthusiastic teachers - always open for new ideas and trying their best to make the education best possible with the available resources. Good to experience children with chance of attending a proper school , a chance of learning to read and write, which some of their parents never had.
