Description
Photograph of an unidentified brook cascading down through mountain terrain, ca.1950. The water seeps down the contours of the hillside like smoke as various trees hang over from the rocky banks. Thin, skeletal trees stand among the light bushes and fallen branches in the foreground while thick trees line the banks further down. Bushes stand beyond the trees on the left bank and continue into fields in the background. The brook appears to continue into the distance where peaks of grassy hillsides can be seen.
