Photograph caption dated August 6, 1958 reads "John Haman, left, vice president of the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce, offers giant-size refreshments to girls competing for Fall Festival Queen title. Contestants, from left, are Joan Barber, Business and Professional Women's Club; Sandy Slaughter, Rotary Club; Diane Gardner, Riding Club; Joan Blunt, Women's Club; Mollie Anderson, L. A. County Firemen's Women's Auxiliary, and Dottie Heita, Junior Women's Club. Jack Hamel is mounted on horse. Festival is slated Aug. 21 through 24."
