View of the corner of a two story building; at street level an awning hangs above the sdiewalk; street lamps stand near the corner on each side; a group of men stand on the corner and another passes a one story sign, advertising black jack; other men sit on curb of side on the right; in the foreground is the street with trolley tracks; second floor is a Hotel that advertises Rooms; second floor has vertical windows, four on left side and six on right side; beyond this building on the right another building extends with 13 tall thin windows; at street level on left is parked a model T.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
