Description
A Southern California Edison lineman rescued pole painter, Brad Tarman after the 'cherry picker' bucket he was working in accidentally touched lines charged with 4,000 volts near 761 S. McDonnell Avenue. Lineman Ramiro Rodriguez was raised in a second cherry picker and was able to gently lift the deadly wire, freeing Tarman from his frozen 20-minute crouch. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor burns and released. Photograph dated November 13, 1984.
